# How to Create a QR Code

# Creating a QR Code Graphic

First, make sure the QR code template is added to your team. [Follow this article](https://help.boxoutsports.com/en-us/article/adding-templates-to-a-team-1gyti1j/) for instructions on adding templates to team pages.

1. Open the template.
2. Choose your font, logo, and colors.
3. Enter a headline and subtext to let users know what will happen when the QR code is scanned.
4. Choose what happens when the QR code is scanned. Options include: link to URL, wifi access, email, text message, or contact card.

5. Choose a sponsor logo (if applicable) and a background overlay option.
6. Click update preview.
7. Click save or share to start using your new graphic!
