# Renaming Files

# How to Rename Files in Box Out

Box Out gives you the ability to rename your uploaded files to help you easily search and locate the file you need quickly.

### Try it Out

To begin, navigate to **Uploads** on the left menu.

Click the three, gray horizontal line icon (hamburger icon) located on the bottom right-hand side of file thumbnail and choose **Rename**.

A popup will prompt you to enter a new File Name.  Enter the new name of the file.

Click **Save**.
