Q: Issues Editing a Template

<h1 id="howtoeditatemplate">How to Edit a Template</h1> The Template tab on the left menu is where you can browse all the available templates, based on your subscription level. Once you find a template you like, click Add to Team. Then go to the Graphics tab on the left menu. Find the template you added and click it to start editing. <h3 id="icanteditthetemplate">I Can't Edit the Template</h3> If you can't edit a template, you may viewing the graphic in Demo Mode. Make sure you have added the template to a Team before trying to edit it. Contact your Administrator to gain the ability or have them add the templates to your team. Using Box Out on Your Mobile Device

Optimizing Box Out for Mobile Devices

We designed Box Out to go with you wherever you need to be. As an SID or Athletic Director we know you are always on the move. To keep things easy and simple, you can access your account from whatever device you have in your hands. You don't even need to download another App. Simply type in boxoutsports.com to your browser, login, and create!

Adding Box Out to Your Home Screen

Saving the website to your Home Screen is essential for quick access on the go. This places the Box Out icon along with your other list of Apps.

Then when you need to create a graphic on the go or update a score you can quickly click your Box Out icon, choose a score update graphic, enter the score and post.

Using Horizontal and Vertical Modes

You can use our platform both vertically and horizontally on your mobile device. In vertical mode simply choose your graphic and then hit Continue Editing at the bottom.

How to Add Photos and Logos to Your Box Out Account

Once you've added a Template to a Team Page the Uploads tab will display on the left-hand side.

Click on the Uploads tab to upload your photos, videos, and logos.

You can upload content by either clicking the icon in the upper right hand corner or you can DRAG & DROP a photo, or multiple photos straight from your desktop.

Uploading Logos

If you are uploading a team logo, we recommend using .png files.

You can upload your team logo or sponsor logos to the LOGOS tab located at the top of the UPLOADS page.

Creating Folders

You can also create individual folders and subfolders - see our detailed article for creating folders.

To move previous uploads into a folder simply click on the checkbox located in the lower left corner of each file thumbnail. Doing so will prompt three choices where you can MOVE, SHARE or DELETE these files.

Authorizing Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for Direct Posting

Authorizing Your Social Media Accounts

To post directly to your social media accounts from Box Out, you will first need to authorize them.

Each team can be linked to their own social media accounts.

Authorizing X

To authorize your X account click the SETTINGS tab on the left menu inside of your Teams page and then the top tab SOCIAL MEDIA.

From here you can click CONNECT. You may be prompted to log in to X.
Then click AUTHORIZE APP. This will link your account to Box Out.

Authorizing Facebook

To authorize your Facebook account click the SETTINGS tab on the left menu inside of your Teams page and then the top tab SOCIAL MEDIA.
Click AUTHORIZE FACEBOOK
Place a checkmark next to the page you'd like to connect to Box Out.

Confirm that the toggles are all turned to Yes and click Done.

Click OK on the confirmation page and then select your Facebook page and click Authorize this Page.

_NOTE: You can link one (1) Facebook and one (1) Twitter

Adding Opponents to a Team

How to Add New Opponents in Box Out

With the PLUS and PREMIUM Subscriptions you have the ability to upload opponents through our Library Database.

| You can add an opponent directly inside a graphic OR you can add opponents to your team library.

Adding an Opponent Directly Inside a Graphic Template

After adding a template to a team, click on a graphic that has opponent options (e.g. a gameday graphic or schedule graphic)

Scroll down to the Opponents area and click on Select an opponent dropdown.

You can choose an opponent that you previously imported, or click the + Add to import and add an opponent.

After clicking the + Add, you can Search the library or enter information manually.
Note: adding an opponent here will also add it to your team, making it easily accessible for future graphic creation

To search the Library, start typing a school name and then click Import.

How to Edit a Template

The Template tab on the left menu is where you can browse all the available templates, based on your subscription level.

Once you find a template you like, click Add to Team.

Then go to the Graphics tab on the left menu.

Find the template you added and click it to start editing.

I Can't Edit the Template

If you can't edit a template, you may viewing the graphic in Demo Mode. Make sure you have added the template to a Team before trying to edit it.
